The
C.D.M.H.A. N.H.L. 2025/2026 Survivor Pool will START on NHL Week #9 -
Saturday, December 6th @ 12:00PM (Eastern)
50%
of the entry fee total goes to the survivor…50% of the entry fee total goes to
CDMHA.
For
example: 100 entries x $20.00 = $2,000…$1,000 to Survivor…$1,000 to CDMHA.
Upon joining, you will receive a separate email with payment instructions.
Basic Rules:
Pick One Team per Day/Week
* You select one NHL team to win on Saturday of each week.
* If your team wins, you survive to the next round.
* If your team loses, you’re eliminated.
You Can’t Pick the Same Team Twice
* Once you’ve chosen a team, you can’t use them again for the rest of the pool.
Last Person Standing Wins
* The pool continues until only one person remains (everyone else has been eliminated).
Common ways CDMHA uses funds from a fundraiser:
Player Development & Programs
* Skills development sessions (power skating and goaltending clinics)
* Coaching and player development resources or instructors
* Equipment for shared use (pucks, cones, training aids, goalie gear, etc.)
Team & Association Equipment
* Jerseys, socks, and team apparel
* Goalie equipment for loan programs
* First aid kits, safety equipment, and trainer supplies
Coaching & Volunteer Support
* Coach and trainer certification costs (e.g., OMHA/HCSP/Respect in Sport courses)
* Appreciation or recognition events
Ice & Facility Costs
* Ice rental fees for practices, games, and evaluations
Administrative & Operational Costs
* Website hosting, registration software, or communication platforms
* Office supplies or printing for forms, schedules, and permits
* Fees for OMHA, OHF, or Hockey Canada affiliation
Events & Community Engagement
* Hosting home tournaments (ice costs, referees, minor awards, etc.)
* Volunteer appreciation events or recognition gifts
