Menace Struggle to Score in 2-1 Victory
The Caledonia Menace continued to play well as  a team but struggled to find the back of the net in a 2-1 win over Hagersville 7.

The team played a good first period and thought they had taken the lead on a Silas Johnson shot which appeared to hit the back of the net and bounce right back out again but it was not seen by the referees and not called a goal. Near the end of the second period, the Menace finally did get on the board when Kayden Miedema flicked the puck on net and then collected his own rebound which he shot in for a 1-0 lead. Early in the third period, Tyler Dinya broke down the right side and took a great shot a few steps inside the blue line which beat the opposing goaltender to make it 2-0. Hagersville got one back a few minutes later but never really came close to scoring again leaving the Menace with a 2-1 victory. The next game is on Friday against West Lincoln in the Hagersville tournament.
