Dragons Hold on for the Tie
The Red Dragons managed to hold on to a tie game against the Caledonia A3 (yellow) team Thursday night. They were trailing 1-0 early in the game until the equalizer was scored by Owen Clarke. Word on the street is that he used his "secret move", but it sure looked like he was taking a page from Team Canada's playbook by putting the puck on the net amidst a ton of traffic out front. The game got quite chippy, as the Dragons were eager to keep their "tie" streak going, while Caledonia A3 were desperate for a win or a tie to stay in the playoff hunt. The Red Dragons AGAIN showed their integrity by not retaliating to some aggressive play - the parents in the stands were proud, as always! The Red Dragons are in action again tonight (Friday) against Glanbrook 7. Go Dragons!
