Another Tie for the Red Dragons
The Red Dragons came from behind on Friday night, keeping the fans on the edge of their seats!!!

An early goal from Aaron Oppertshauser, followed by a goal from Kyle Arnold kept the Dragons in the game. The Red Dragons seemed a little off but it may have been the referee that kept them guessing. His secret "trick face-offs", and hop-skip-jump skating technique was obviously a factor in the Red Dragons' confusion. With just over a minute left in the game, Mason Lalonde was pulled from the ice to add an extra attacker and, crazy referee tricks aside, Owen Clarke managed to secure the tie with very little time left on the clock. There was overwhelming excitement in the crowd and the cow bells rang wildly! In a final secret referee technique, Owen Clarke was thrown out of the face-off circle in the last face-off of the game (obviously he was trying an illegal, secret move to gain an advantage on the trick puck-drop), and in another crazy and sneaky refereeing move, the ref called our defenceman Tyler Watson into the circle to take the face-off. An unprecedented move, never seen anywhere else in the world, but luckily the Red Dragons were able to hold on in the dying seconds for the tie. The Red Dragons face this pesky Glanbrook team in the final game of the round-robin playoffs, although game day is still in question. At this point, it is scheduled for Thursday, March 6th at 6pm in Glanbrook. Go Dragons!
