Jackets almost beat undefeated Glanbrook
Going into the game Friday night, Glanbrook was undefeated in the B division playoffs. That almost changed with Rhys Wide making his debut in the net for the Jackets and coming up with some great saves throughout the game.

Despite controlling most of the play in the first period of the game with some great fore-checking and great passing by Yellow Jackets, Glanbrook had a 2-0 lead mid-way through the second period. But the hard work finally paid off when Aaron Oppertshauser took a puck from behind the net and wrapped it around the net and into the goal before the Glanbrook goalie could recover. Then Isaak Fisher took a beautiful pass from Reuben Hill, who assisted on all three Caledonia goals, and deflected it into the net to tie the game. Early in the third period, Aaron Oppertshauser took a puck in front of the net and ripped it into the top corner to get his second of the game and give the Jackets the lead. Shane Williams and Reuben Hill both assisted on the goal. But in the last couple of minutes of the game Glanbrook managed to score one more time leading to a 3-3 tie. Both Silas Johnson and Justin Anderson played great substituting on defense and were a big part of the great effort by the Jackets. Next game is Monday night against Cayuga.
