Jackets allow late goal and settle for a tie
The Caledonia Yellow Jackets were the dominant team on the ice Thursday night but had to settle for a tie against Hagersville.

The Jackets opened the scoring on a goal from Reuben Hill which was assisted by Ethan Ferreira and Brenhyn Gavey. But Hagersville scored a late goal in the period to tie it up. Hagersville then scored their second goal of the game and took a 2-1 lead going into the third period. The Jackets continued to pass well and control the puck in the offensive zone and their patience paid off on a goal from the point by Justin Anderson. Assists on the play were given to Reuben Hill and Ethan Ferreira. The Jackets then went up 3-2 on another goal by Reuben Ferreira who was fed a great pass from behind the net by Brenhyn Gavey. Ethan Ferreira collected his third assist on the play as well. However, some late defensive errors by the Jackets allowed Hagervsville to score with only 4 seconds left to play in the third period leading to the 3-3 tie. The Jackets will now try to guarantee themselves a semi-final playoff berth with a win over Cayuga Sunday afternoon.
