Jackets Give Glanbrook their first loss!
The Caledonia Yellow Jackets continued their stellar team play beating the previously undefeated Glanbrook team 6-4 in the Peewee B division.

Glanbrook opened the scoring but shortly after Reuben Hill scored two goals in the same shift, the second goal coming off an amazing shot into the top corner, to give the Jackets a 2-1 lead. Aaron Oppertshauser and Shane Williams collected assists on the goals. The Jackets then extended their lead to 4-1 in the second period on goals by Silas Johnson and Ethan Ferreira. Tyler Diyna assisted the Johnson goal and Reuben Hill collected his third point of the game assisting on the Ferreira goal. However the tough Glanbrook team came out hard in the third period and kept the Jackets deep in their own zone which led to two goals for the opponents. The Jackets then replied on a goal from Isaak Fisher which was assisted by Aaron Oppertshauser. Justin Anderson then restored the three goal lead for the Jackets with a hard shot from the point into the top corner of the net. Brenhyn Gavey and Alex Chmiel collected assists on the play. The Glanbrook team managed to get one back but the Jackets held on for the impressive 6-4 team win. Chris Chmiel should also be given credit for a few key stops that he made throughout the game. The Jackets have now clinched a playoff spot and have one more league game Sunday before the semifinals.
