Dunnville Friendship Tournament
On Saturday January 3rd and Sunday January 4th the Caledonia Tyke team “Caledonia Storm” participated in the Dunnville Friendship Tournament. They competed against teams from Dunnville, Stoney Creek, Waterford and Wainfleet.



Austin Fess, Cole Wright and Austin VanSickle represented Caledonia Storm in the Skills Competition. All three boys did a great job!  

The first game was played against the Waterford Wildcats #2 with a final score of 6-0 for Caledonia Storm. Max Tinebra was given MVP of the game and coach Ryan’s Hard “Work” Hat was given to Sam VanSickle. The second game was played against the Dunnville Mudcats #2 with another victory for the Caledonia Storm of 1-0. Austin VanSickle was given MVP of the game and the Hard “Work” Hat was given to Natalie Kay. The third game was played against the Stoney Creek Stars with a final score of 3-3, which advanced the team to the Division A Finals on Sunday. Nathan Nie was given MVP of this game and the Hard “Work” Hat went to Tyson Edge. The championship game was played against the Stoney Creek Lightning with a final score of 4-2 for Caledonia Storm to win the tournament! The team worked very hard all weekend and did a wonderful job playing as a team. Max Tinebra was given MVP of the game and the Hard “Work” Hat was given to the whole team for working so well together.    

Congratulations Storm! You represented Caledonia well and made your coaches and parents very proud!!
