Simcoe Tournament
On January 31st and February 1st Storm competed in a tournament in Simcoe. There were 16 teams participating. Storm played their first game against the Oak Ridge Kings ending in a loss. The MVP of the game was given to Austin Van Sickle and the "Hard Work Hat" was given to Peyton Brenzil.
The second game was against the Dorchester Ice Pirates it was a very close game with a final score of 2-1 for Dorchester. Congrats to Natalie for scoring the only goal for Storm and receiving MVP of the game! The "Hard Work Hat" went to Nathan Nie. The third game was against the West London Red Wings with a final score of 8-6 for West London. Congrats to Max Tinebra for receiving MVP of the game and Sam Van Sickle for receiving the "Hard Work Hat." The final game of the tournament was against the Simcoe Canadians. It was an exciting game and all the kids did a great job. Rumor has it there was a "reward" for the most "bumps" which the kids loved!! MVP went to Max Tinebra and the "Hard Work Hat" went to Chase Pickett. Good job Storm you all played very hard!!
