Thunder Start OMHA Playdowns With a Win
The Caledonia Thunder began their first OMHA playdown series with a 6-1 win over Ingersoll. 

Zach Ebert scored early in the first period to give the Thunder a quick 1-0 lead. Macgregor Lawrence and Carter Gillam collected assists on the goal. Aaron Oppertshauser scored midway through the second period to give the Thunder a 2-0 lead. Brady Simington and Brenhyn Gavey got the assists. Ingersoll scored a couple of minutes later but Eric Thompson quickly responded with a goal on a pass from Corey Shelton. Early in the third period, the Thunder scored two short handed goals to extend their lead. Macgregor Lawrence got the first unassisted and Brady Simington got the second with Lawrence and Ebert collecting the assists. Tristan Walkinshaw then scored the 6th goal with a great hustle play collecting his own rebound and burying it into the back of the net. Kyle Arnold and Zach Ebert both got assists. Brady Simington was given the player of the game for his great positioning and team work throughout the game.
