After reflecting on a successful season and my first year as a competitive coach in minor hockey, I realize that we often take our sponsors for granted.
Hockey is an expensive sport and teams ask for sponsors every year to help them keep costs down and improve the experience of the players. There are people and businesses in our community that generously give year after year so that teams can buy uniforms and clothing, go into tournaments, and buy extra practice time. Without the sponsors, the experience the players get would be much less and the cost for parents much more and all they get in return is their name on a sweater, jacket or sign. I would like to send out a special thanks to our sponsors for the important part they played in helping our team have a great year. Thanks to Budget Blinds, Lawrence's Sports Excellence, Caledonia Veterinary Clinic, Costa's Wine Country, Edward Jones Investments, and the Rotary Club of Caledonia for helping us out this year. It really is greatly appreciated and I hope we will all look for ways to support them back in our community.
