Menace bounce back with 3-0 win
Silas Johnson and Tyler Dinya had two points each as they led the Caledonia Menace to a 3-0 victory over Listowel. Early in the first period, Silas Johnson got the scoring started with a nice shot from the left side that deflected off the goalie's stick and ended up in the top corner to make the score 1-0.
Remy Hetram got an assist on the play. Then with less than a minute to go in the first period, Tyler Dinya let a hard, low shot go from the point that deflected off Aaron Oppertshauser and into the net. Chris Cresencia also got an assist on the goal. In the second period, the Menace lost a little of their energy but managed to keep Listowel off the board thanks to a couple of nice saves by Chris Chmiel who earned the shutout. Then after Listowel had pulled their goalie late in the game, Johnson got his second of the night on a great pass from Dinya to put the game away. Justin Ouwehand also got an assist on the goal. The Menace now wait to see who their opponent will be tomorrow in the final game of the tournament.
