Bantam Reps are CHAMPIONS!
Bantam Reps travelled to Owen Sound this past weekend to compete in the Jr Attack Early Bird Tournament.
In game one we face the host team (Owen Sound Rep). The boys came out ready to play and defeated the Attacks 2-1. Later the same day we faced the Midland Centennials. With some very even play we finished with a 4-4 tie. After a night of rest we faced the Owen Sound AE team and defeated them with a final score of 6-2. Our final game of the day was against Simcoe Warriors. Unable to dominate them we were handed our first loss of the tournament, but it wasn't enough to keep us out of our run for gold ... we were headed to the semi-finals. First thing Sunday morning we faced Tillsonburg in the semis and eliminated them with a crushing score of 5-0 ... we were headed to the Championships. In the gold medal game we were faced once again with Simcoe. With a solid team effort we dominated the game and came out with a 4-1 win .... Bantam Rep are CHAMPIONS!!
