The 1st tournament of the season found the Novice Rep team in Haliburton for the Walt McKechnie Novice Jamboree.
Game 1 involved a familiar foe as Jake and coach Tom looked to the other bench and found cousin Henry, coach/brother Scott and the Highland Storm. The team rallied around their teammate/coach and came out victorious (and bragging rights at Christmas or longer) with a complete team effort!
A short rest brought game 2 and the West Mall Lightning. In an epic battle, the team once again, came out victorious with a couple timely goals and "Big Save" Addy showing the Etobicoke boys how to play goal while only allowing one to get past her. There were a few casualties, in the form of coaches voices but hey, that's hockey!
Our final game included the South Muskoka Bears and a back and forth affair. Caledonia was able to find their tired legs an extra gear to finish off the tournament with one final victory to complete the undefeated weekend!
