The Fault in Our Stars

A fifth victory in a row just wasn't in the Stars for the Caledonia Thunder on Thursday night as they fell 4-2 to Twin Centre.  The Thunder held a 1-0 lead into the second period but had fallen behind 2-1 early in the third.  A seeing-eye shot just inside the post then gave the Stars a 3-1 lead with 12 minutes remaining.  The Thunder roared back on the ensuing faceoff and narrowed the margin back to a single goal.  With little time remaining and a sixth attacker on the ice, the Thunder feverishly attempted to tie the score but came up empty and the Stars sealed their victory with an empty net goal.  The Thunder will be looking to exact some revenge on the visiting Tornadoes this Friday.
