Organization - COVID-19 Vaccine Passport Update for Arena Users

Information From Haldimand County -
Haldimand County staff have reviewed the Province’s regulations with respect to COVID-19 vaccination requirements to enter indoor sport and recreation facilities. 

Based on these regulations, effective Wednesday, September 22, 2021 proof of vaccination (2 doses + 14 days from second dose) and personal identification WILL be required for the following:
·        All adults 18+
·        Youth ages 12-17, with the exception of those actively participating at the time of entry in organized sport* Those exempt from showing proof of vaccination will be:
·        Youth under 12
·        Youth 12-17 actively participating at the time of entry in an organized sport*
·        Persons who provide a written document, signed by a physician or nurse practitioner, with a documented medical exemption for not being fully vaccinated. 

*Organized sport is defined as activities that are governed by an organization or association, requires formal registration to participate and includes training, practice sessions, and games or matches.  

Please note these are provincial regulations that staff are required to implement and administer and that the public must adhere to.
