Thunder U13 Team 2 WIN Port Dover Tourney
Congratulations to the Caledonia Thunder U13 Team 2 on their well deserved win at the Thomas Butler Memorial Tournament this weekend in Port Dover!
They started the tournament with a 3-1 win over the Simcoe Warriors. Their second game was against the Port Dover Pirates where they gave up the lead but held on to finish with a 4-4 tie. Heading into the third game it was a must win to move on to the finals. Caledonia battled hard and took home the win against the Delhi Rockets 4-2. Ready to face the Port Dover Pirates again for the championship game, Caledonia took the early lead and kept their foot on the gas with a 9-1 win, taking home the well deserved championship trophy!
