Caledonia PW3 Hold on to First Place early in Local League Standings
The Caledonia PW3 team kept their hold on first place early in the season in the league standings. Coming into game 3 undefeated they had a strong showing against the Stoney Creek Warriors.
At the end of the first period both teams remained scoreless despite great efforts by the PW3 team. Heading into Period two, #8 Mason Hill was first to light up the scoreboard with a great unassisted goal. Despite solid goaltending by Mason Lalonde, the Stoney Creek Warriors did manage to score after a scramble in front of our net in the second period. With only seconds remaining in Period two Caledonia came alive with another goal, this time from # 12 Brent Baldwin with a great assist from #16 Adriano Coco.
Heading into the third period we were up by one. To seal the deal #14, Carter Nix, scored the final goal of the game, assisted by Silas Johnson and Cameron Warren. The Caledonia PW 3 coming out on top with the final score of 3-1. Our season is off to a great start, let's keep the momentum and continue the hard work and great team play!
