Team Burgundee's Offense Still Looking to Breakout
After a 4-0 loss to Glanbrook, Team Burgundee took back to the ice against Caledonia 3.
Team Burgundee struck first when Jordan Guetter rifled a shot into the top corner to give them the 1-0 lead. However, Caledonia 3 quickly responded leaving the score 1-1 going into the second period. Late in the second, Caledonia 3 scored to take the 2-1 lead but Team Burgundee responded seconds later when Logan Holmes slid a puck into the bottom corner of the net. Jean Cloete got the assist on the goal after some hard work to gain and maintain the zone. The third period saw both teams with a few chances to score but the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Team Burgundee has been working hard on proper positioning and breakouts and all three lines are trying to pass more but many of the passes were just off the mark Friday night. Once the passes start clicking, look out!
