Defense Outstanding in 1-0 Burgundee Win
Josh Audit, Reuben Hill, Mason Allemang and Nathan May were simply outstanding in the defensive zone keeping the visiting Glanbrook 7 team to the outside, blocking shots, and tying up sticks in front of the net. Their efforts helped lead the team to a key 1-0 victory.
Tommy Woodhouse got the only goal of the game when he was able to coral a rebound off a shot from the point by Mason Allemang and beat the opposing goalie. There was great passing all night and Team Burgundee had 30 shots on net but they could not get another one by the Glanbrook netminder. Zach Spence also made some great stops for team Burgundee when Glanbrook did manage to get some shots on net earning his second shut-out of the season. Next game is Sunday against Caledonia 1.
