The team finished the round robin in 8th position but battled back to win!

Caledonia Thunder Atom Rep Champions at the Wayne Gretzky International Tournament in Brantford Dec 27-29!
The team finished the round robin in 8th position out of 16 teams.  Quarter finals were played Dec 28, Caledonia was the underdog going into this game as they had to play the #1 seeded team in the tourney.  Big win for the Atoms - final score was 2-0 against Kitchener Jr Rangers.  Onto the semis Fri Dec 29 to play the 2nd best team in the tournament Barrie Colts and the team pulled out another upset with the final score 3-2!  Then onto the finals Fri evening back in Brantford at the Gretzky Centre.  Final match-up was against the Burford Coyotes who we had lost 6-2 in the round robin play.  The players pulled out all the stops to earn the Championship title, final score was 4-2!  Lots of grit, big intensity and great teamwork!  Great 3 days of Thunder hockey after Christmas!  Well done players and coaches!!
