Bantam Local League 2018/19
Submitted By pmakey on Monday, September 24, 2018
To all Bantam Local League players and parents.

This year we will only have 2 Bantam LL teams as various factors have aligned not allowing for more teams. Although to some it may not seem ideal, the CDMHA board has put much time and effort into ensuring this will be another terrific season.

As the players get older other commitments may take priority over hockey, whether school. work or some other activity, experience tells us that having smaller Bantam and Midget teams can lead to games where there is not sufficient attendance to have adequate lines and player relief. Already this year in Bantam we have not had full attendance at some practices, so feel the larger populated teams are not a concern.

Further we have retained the ice that was allocated for the third team and this will be shared by the Bantam LL teams in full ice practices. We hope this will further allow these players to develop and have fun.

We send a thank you to all the coaches and bench staff that have stepped up and look forward to a terrific fun filled season.

Thank you
Paul Makey, President CDMHA
