ATOMIC THUNDER
Welcome players and parents to the ATOMIC THUNDER webpage. This page contains our schedule and upcoming events. As we are fortunate enough this year to be part of the ATOMC program sponsored by Mcdonalds, I would like to add (with parents permission)
photos of the boys and players of the game. If anyone has anything they would like to see on this page, feel free to email me.
As part of the ATOMC program, a player is selected by the coaches for outstanding team play after every game. The player will get to wear the Golden Jersey and have a photo taken in it. Then the parents have the option to upload the picture to the Golden Moments website. Once uploaded we can all vote on it and have the chance to win some prizes. Only one needs to be voted on as the whole team will get the prize. Also a badge will be given to the player to be put on the thunder jersey. We decided to put it on the left sleeve under the Canada flag. We also now have gotten Pita Pit vouchers also to be given out.
We are quickly approaching our first tournament in West Lorne. We are hoping that this will be a good time to get to know parents and player and allow the boys to bond as a team. Our second tournament is in Feb in Windsor. We are booked in at the Comfort Inn and reservation details will be sent out at a later date. We are close to the Detroit border for those of you that like to venture across for shopping.
Hope everybody is having a great time thus far and looking forward to getting to know everybody better as the year progresses.
