Bantam AE, 2016-2017 (Caledonia Minor Hockey)

The NHL season has come to an end, which means we have winners for our Regular Season Bantam AE Hockey Pool Fundraiser. The Bantam AE team having finished their post season play last week, are heading to Aylmer for one last battle on the ice.  Their schedule is as follows; Fri March 17th game @ 7pm vs Strathroy Sat March 18th game @ 6:15pm vs St Marys Sun March 19th game @ 11am vs Ayr Sun March 19th FINALS @ 3:45pm We wish the boys luck on their last games for the 2016/17 season. Caledonia Bantam AE Team have advanced to the next round of the OMHA's after a sweep against Tavistock.

Last Saturday, members of the Bantam AE team volunteered their time at Zehrs to help collect toys and food for the Caledonia Food Bank.  They greeted customers at the door and provided a list of items most needed at this time to restock the shelves.  The community was very responsive to the boys politeness and efforts, many asking them how their season was going, giving them positive words of encouragement for helping out and in turn came back from their shopping with generous donations themselves.  One player was amazed when a customer brought back 3 bags filled with groceries for the food ...

The Bantam AE team will be volunteering this Saturday December 17th at Zehrs in Caledonia for their Holiday Food and Toy Drive from 10am-4pm.  Unwrapped new toys for all ages, gift cards and food items will be collected for our local food bank and community toy giving initiatives.  Lists of food items in need will be handed out by the team to help assist in keeping the food bank stocked for the holiday season.  Please come out and support our community this Saturday!!  Thanks in advance!
