PW3, LL, 2015-2016 (Caledonia Minor Hockey)

Happy New Year to all Caledonia Hornets and their families and many faithful fans!  Sunday, January 3, Caledonia Arena, saw the first match up of the New Year vs. the second place PW2.  Caledonia Hornets finished off 2015 with a loss and a tie, but the start of 2016 proved they are back to their winning ways.

The newly named "Caledonia Hornets" are continuing their winning spree with another two wins last weekend, and an additional two this weekend!  Amazing teamwork, and great defense have led to our success.

The Caledonia PW3 team kept their hold on first place early in the season in the league standings.  Coming into game 3 undefeated they had a strong showing against the Stoney Creek Warriors.

Caledonia PW3 showed they were hungry for another win, the first on home ice!  Defenseman Peyton Comeau started the scoring streak off with a goal in the first period, assisted by #5 Sean McNiven, and #13 Silas Johnson.  The Hagersville Hawks proceeded to gain the lead, by getting two past goalie Mason Lalonde, Caledonia was down by 1.

Congratulations Caledonia PW3...your season opener last Sunday afternoon in Glanbrook was fantastic!  Looking forward to another weekend of great hockey as we take on Hagersville on home ice Friday night at 8p.m. and we then face Stoney Creek at Valley Park on Saturday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m.  Let's continue to skate hard and play hard with great team work!
