Caledonia Menace Return to Winning Ways
After losing two straight games to Cayuga, the Caledonia Menace returned to their winning ways with a 3-1 win over Caledonia 1. In the first period, the Menace controlled a lot of the play with good puck control and passing but could not get many shots away due to some good defense by Caledonia 1, and when they did manage to get a shot off, they could not beat the opposing team's goalie.

In the second period, the Menace continued to press and Remy Hetram finally got them on the board with a low hard shot that found the back of the net. A couple of minutes later, Silas Johnson picked up a clearing attempt and let a bullet go from the top of the slot that the opposing goalie had no chance on to make it 2-0. In the third period, it was Caledonia 1's turn to put the pressure on and they got one goal back to make the score 2-1. However, a few minutes later Jacob Bruton-Smith got his first goal of the season when he gathered a rebound and quickly deposited it into the back of the net to make the final score 3-1. Alex Chmiel and Silas Johnson both had assists on the play. Next game is Sunday against Caledonia 3.
