Cresencia Scores Winner in 3-2 Victory
Chris Cresencia picked a great time to score his first goal of the year. With 7 seconds left in the game and the scored tied at 2-2, Cresencia picked up the puck and shot it into the bottom corner to give the Menace the 3-2 victory. Silas Johnston got an assist on the goal.
Remy Hetram opened the scoring in the first period with a shot from the point that was deflected into the opposing goal. Silas Johnston got the second goal on a pass from Aaron Oppertshauser which he quickly deposited into the top corner to make it 2-0. Hagersville replied with 2 goals in the second period setting up a thrilling third period which ended with the game winning goal by Cresencia. The next games for the Menace are at the Neil Barker Tournament in London next weekend.
