The Caledonia Thunder Midget Ae3's won their third straight tournament Dec 6-8th, when they became the Twin Centre's Regional Silver Stick Champions. The boys won games against Twin Centre and Tillsonburg but came up short against St Marys in round robin play. Facing St Marys in the semi-finals, the Thunder would keep their fans on the edge of their seats with a scoreless regulation but a sweet goal in OT would send the Thunder to the championship. A solid performance by all against Tavistock and Caledonia would earn a trip to the International Silver Stick in January with the 2-1 final score.

The boys travelled to Huntsville November 22-24th to participate in Huntsvilles Annual Midget Tournament. After a disappointing 2-0 loss in Game One to Lucan the Thunder regrouped and defeated the home town team in back to back games 4-1 and 6-0 to qualify for the finals and another shot at Lucan. The Thunder came out strong scoring early in the first. Keeping the pressure on, the boys had alot of good opportunities but would be unable to find the back of the net. Lucan would have their chances but solid defence from the Thunder would prove too much and the 1-0 final score would give Caledonia their second straight tournament championship!
Great Job Thunder!!
