U11 Team 1 Wins Home Opener
On Saturday October 29, U11 Team 1 opened their season at home to the Glanbrook Rangers Team 4.
Fletcher F scored the first goal of the season for the Thunder, and started the game off on the right foot for Caledonia. The Thunder stormed out of the gates at that point, notching 5 goals in the first period.
The Rangers stormed back, but Caledonia's strong defence (Teddy B, Nate C, Nixon Y, and Molly F) and excellent goaltending from Jaxon C helped keep them at bay, preserving the 6-3 win for the Thunder.
James G recorded a hat-trick, while Chase W added two more goals for the Thunder. Fletcher F also collected an assist, as well as Violet E, Teddy B, and Blake L.
