Win Streak Continues in Hagersville
The Kings faced Hagersville 9 on Friday night in a re-match of last week's game.

The Kings fought hard and the result was the same as last week's game - a victory for the Kings - who have now extended the win streak to four! Scoring started early for the Kings, as Zach Archibald poked a quick goal past the Hagersville netminder. That was quickly followed by a rebound shot from Connor "Cheeseburger" Lagan, putting the Kings up by two. Hagersville responded with a goal of their own, but their comeback was short-lived, as the second period saw another goal from Zach Archibald (assisted by Ty MacDonald and Liam Rabbat). Then, a scrum broke out in front of the Hagersville net - the Kings' sticks were furiously poking at a loose puck in front of the net. The intensity was electrifying, and with one final jab, Brayden Pauls netted his first goal of the season - assisted by pretty much everyone on the ice - including Hagersville - but we gave the assists to his linemates Liam Rabbat and Dylan Kay. Hagersville scored one final goal in the third period, but it was not enough to overcome the swarming purple wave now being known throughout Haldimand County Local League as the Caledonia Kings.

Of course, another strong game in net by Josh Cybulski and our defensive core of Pain, Allemang, Hine and newcomer Arnold.

Stay tuned to see if the Kings can continue the win streak with their upcoming final 3 games before the Christmas break.
