Jackets finish final regular weekend with 2 wins
The Caledonia finished their final regular season weekend with 2 wins. On Saturday Mar. 7, they travelled to Stoney Creek for an exhibition game and came away with a 6-3 win.

Brenhyn Gavey scored a hat trick with Silas Johnson, Ethan Ferreira, and Shane Williams adding a goal each. Isaak Fisher, Reuben Hill, and Tyler Dinya collected assists. Then On Sunday Mar. 8, the Jackets played one of their best games of the season and added proof that they may be the most improved team of the year by beating Hagersville 5-0. The Jackets jumped out to a quick lead with Brenhyn Gavey, Aaron Oppertshauser, and Silas Johnson (2) all scoring in the first period which gave the Jackets a 4-0 lead after one. Peyton Comeau, Aaron Oppertshauser, Shane Williams, and Noah Ferreira (2) all collected assists on the goals. The Jackets then turned their attention to defense in order to try to give Chris Chmiel his first shut-out of the season. The team worked hard and were successful in preserving the shut-out. Brenhyn Gavey added an unassisted goal near the end of the third period to cap off a great game. The Jackets now turn their attention to their semi-final game against Caledonia 1 on Tuesday, Mar. 24. It should be an exciting finish.
