Team Burgundee Still Undefeated in Playoff Round Robin
Team Burgundee won both their games this past week to remain undefeated in the Bantam Playoff A Round Robin.
In their first game, Team Burgundee beat the previously undefeated Glanbrook 6 by a score of 4-2. It was an exciting game from start to finish with Jordan Guetter leading the way scoring a hat trick and Evan Regnerus netted the other early in the first period. Assists were given to Jean Cloete (2), Aaron Oppertshauser, Tommy Woodhouse, and Josh Audit. In the second game, Team Burgundee beat their home town rivals Caledonia 4 by a score of 2-0. Charlie Cooper and Reuben Hill (on a great end to end rush!) got the goals with assists being given to Jean Cloete (2), Tommy Woodhouse, and Charlie Cooper. Goalie Zach Spence was not test often, but made the big save when the team needed it to get the shutout. Team Burgundee now sits 2 points behind first place Cayuga with two games in hand. They have a break this week but then play Friday, Saturday and Sunday next weekend.
