Team Burgundee Back On Track
After a couple of tough games against Cayuga that saw the team allow a last minute goal for a 1-1 tie and then play some poor hockey in a 3-0 loss, Team Burgundee got back on track with an exciting 2-1 win over Glanbrook.
The team got back to playing their own type of hockey with lots of passing, good forechecking, and great defense. Despite creating some great scoring opportunities, Team Burgundee was unable to beat the Glanbrook goalie until midway through the third period when Connor Dufour was able to beat him through the five hole on a breakaway. With three minutes left Glanbrook answered back with their own goal knotting the score at 1-1. Then with 26 seconds left in the game Jordan Guetter scored the game winner with assists going to Dufour and Josh Audit. The team goes back to Glanbrook on Saturday night. Another win will put the team back into first place.
