Jackets run unbeaten streak to six!
The Jackets continued to create lots of offensive opportunities but had to settle for a 2-2 tie against Cayuga which ran their unbeaten streak to six games.
Cayuga opened up the scoring but the Jackets responded in the second period when Reuben Hill took a nice pass up the middle and tipped the puck through the legs of the defender to create a breakaway which he put into the back of the net on a nice deke. The official assist was given to Tyler Dinya but Aaron Oppertshauser and Ethan Ferreira were also in on the play. Cayuga went up 2-1 but late in the third period Silas Johnson took a nice pass from Brenhyn Gavey and beat the Cayuga goalie on the blocker side to tie the game. After a slow start, it was a great effort by the whole team. The Yellow Jackets will try to keep the streak going Thursday night in Glanbrook.
