Blue Devils Players Nominated for CDMHA Awards
Tyler Dinya and Luke Pain, defenceman for the Blue Devils this past season, were both nominated for two major CDMHA awards at the year-end ceremony last night in Caledonia.

The first award, the "Steven Young Award", is awarded to the player in the PeeWee division of CDMHA that exhibits fantastic effort, demonstrates respect for the coaches, officials, players and the game of hockey, is attentive during practices and games, and possesses a positive attitude such that the team sponsor, coaching staff, fellow teammates, parents and CDMHA are proud to name him/her as a representative of the organization.  Both Tyler and Luke were among the nominees for this award, and Tyler WON!!!! Congratulations to Tyler for such a fantastic honour, very well-deserved.

In an unprecedented turn of events, both players were ALSO nominated for the Kichinko Award. This award is for the entire CDMHA organization (over 500 players!). This award is given to the player that is active in the community, is an honour student and is coachable and a good caliber hockey player. Out of over 500 players, both Tyler and Luke were part of a nominee group of only 3!! Both players were very excited to be finalists for this award. Congratulations to Tyler & Luke, and all of the Blue Devils, for a fantastic season of hockey!
